Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 DOE
International five star hotel company requires a confident self motivated sales professional to join our UK team.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE TRAVEL OR CONFERENCE ARENA THEN PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BY APPLYING
Based at our clients' Milton Keynes office the successful candidate will be responsible for developing outbound meeting and conference group sales from the UK to their key European destinations, namely Prague, Budapest, St Petersburg, Lisbon, Malta and Tripoli.
Previous proven track record in selling to the MICE market an advantage but not essential
Salary commensurate with experience will be £30,000- £35,000
NB: Seeking somebody with either hotel conference experience or conference organiser experience i.e. could be a MICE organise/decision maker in a major corporate, but not interested in anyone from outside travel or conference arena.
No company car available but position includes a mileage allowance per business mile when using your own vehicle on company business

Commission is paid on incremental revenue over 6.5million Euro [2009 production] exact commission structure will be explained at interview but OTE £5000 in commissions
4 weeks paid holiday
Hours 09.00 -17.30 Monday to Friday
It is expected that, if you are successful, you will escort weekend familiarisation trips to various European destinations probably 5 or 6 per year |
